Terms, Conditions & Safety Notes
Your safety and enjoyment are extremely important to us, and ensuring that all our guests have a fantastic experience.
To assist with that we have a number of terms & conditions that are there for your safety and also to ensure that all our guests needs are respected.
Please familiarise yourself with these as you will need to accept these as the basis for your booking and staying with us.
-
Please be aware that we are not a manicured campsite with pavements but rather a working small holding set in farm land, uneven and steep in places. Please make sure that you are aware of this and wear suitable footwear. Animals are unpredictable, please stay out of fields with animals in them. Keep children under supervision at all times. Please also stay within the boundaries when on the site. These are clearly shown within the welcome pack in each tent.
-
All bookings made on our online system are provisional until you receive a confirmation e-mail from us. Bookings can only be made by people aged 18 or over. We reserve the right to refuse a booking without a statement of reason.
-
At the time of booking a non refundable deposit of 30% of the price of your stay is payable. Bookings must be paid in full 8 weeks before the start of your stay. If the balance is not paid by the due date we reserve the right to re let the accommodation and keep the deposit.
-
We totally understand that plans can change and will try to help move the date of your holiday if necessary. If you cancel within 8 weeks of arrival and we are not able to to re let your accommodation we are unable to refund any money paid. Should you cancel before 8 weeks we can either refund your money less the deposit or re schedule your holiday. We would recommend that you take out holiday insurance.
-
Please let us know what time we should expect you to arrive and keep us updated if possible. Your accommodation will be ready by 4pm and we would prefer for you to arrive by 7 p.m so that we have time to show you around. When you arrive please go through both sets of gates and follow the path alongside the outdoor riding school to the car park beside the woods. There is a trolly available to take your luggage to the tent. Please do not allow children to play with or in the trolley. Please note that no cars are allowed in the woods.
-
Please vacate your accommodation by 10 a.m on your day of your departure. Please try to ensure that you have washed up, tidied round and returned all furniture to its original position. Also make sure to book your next visit!
-
We would like all of our guests to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful stay, and to keep noise aggravation to our neighbours and local wildlife to a minimum. To this end, please do not play music outside of the tent, and please do not play any music after 10 PM. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10.30 p.m and be aware that young children may be sleeping. Be conscious of noise levels whilst gathered round your fire pit at night. If singing karaoke at 1a.m is your thing this is not the place for you!
-
Smoking is not permitted in the tents or on the top veranda. Please do not leave lit BBQs or fires unattended.
-
Firelighters, matches, kindling and logs are provided for use in the wood burner and fire pit, more are available to purchase if required.
-
Dogs are welcome as part of the family! Please keep them under control, on leads if necessary, around the tents and our animals. Wipe their paws before entering the tent if they are really dirty and please clear up after your dog. Poo bags are provided and there is a designated bin by the gate at the top of the field. Please don’t leave your dogs in the tent alone.
-
Children are very welcome, please make sure that they are closely supervised at all times, on a lead if necessary! Please keep them out from underneath the tents.
-
Each tent has a smoke and carbon dioxide detector, fire extinguisher and fire blanket. There are 2 exits one at the front and one emergency exit at the back of the tents. Please take care when using the log burner, BBQ and fire pit. No candles are allowed in the tent or on the top veranda. We take great care to make sure that you have a fun, safe, enjoyable holiday but cannot be held liable for any accidents or loss or damage to guests or possessions whilst on our land
-
Please leave the tent tidy and report any damage or breakages to us so that we can rectify the issue before the next guests arrive.
-
