Our nearest pub in the village of Black Torrington :-). Mainly tapas dishes and an amazing Sunday roast! The menu changes quite frequently so best to check online. If you’re wishing to eat there it’s best to call and book a table in advance :-).

Good sized Co-Op on the opposite side of the roundabout from Waitrose. Well stocked with ample parking.

This is our nearest metro sized convenience store. It has a pretty good selection of the essentials and is just down the road from the Hatherleigh Fish & Chip shop.

A bright take away with a small eating in area and also a pleasant, relaxing seating area outside for when the weather is nice. They source the highest quality local produce whenever possible, to give the best tasting food. They buy potatoes from a local supplier and their burgers are made and supplied by a local butcher’s shop. On Mondays they offer gluten and dairy free fish and chips. They also offer gluten free sausages and curry sauce. NOTE - they do cook in peanut oil.. You can order online :-)

The Half Moon Inn is beautiful sixteenth century (1540), Grade Two listed historic fishing inn. It has a lovely warm atmosphere with an extensive menu made from local produce. You can eat either in the bar area or the restaurant and in the holiday periods it is best to call and book in advance.

This is our nearest small village store and newsagents. You'll be able to get your milk, bread, newspapers and essentials here.

Good Fish & Chip shop just up the road from the Co-Op in Hatherleigh. Good selection and good food.

A nice local Indian that does take away. A good selection. They will require 20-30 mins to prepare your food so always worth ordering in advance.

This is our nearest Fish & Chip shop. You'll find some very good local take away food here. Fish & chips are excellent and also good menu choice. Best to phone in your order in advance for collection.

Positioned alongside Waitrose and close to Co-op in Okehampton. Full sized Lidl with plenty of choice.

This is our nearest Morrisons. It has a very good selection including salad bar, bakery, butchers, cafe and cake shop!

A great pub/restaurant on the way to Bude in the nearby market town of Holsworthy. Quite recently refurbished with plenty of space inside and a large terrace area with lovely views. A good menu with local produce and local ales and beers from local brewers including; Holsworthy Ales (Devon), Dartmoor Brewery (Devon), Otter Brewery (Devon), St Austell Brewery (Cornwall) and Sharp’s Brewery (Cornwall).
