The Location

The Safari Tent lodges are set in a secluded meadow, accessed by a short woodland walk.

North Devon is a picturesque paradise and the perfect holiday spot, if we do say so ourselves!

Beara Lodge Glamping is located in the Torridge district of Devon, midway between Okehampton and Bude.

Okehampton is known as one of the 'gateways' to Devon's stunning Dartmoor National Park.

Meanwhile, on the North Cornwall coast, Bude offers great beaches, wonderful surfing, and access to many fantastic coastal walking routes. There is plenty here to suit whatever adventure you fancy, you won't get bored and your dogs will be very happy!

On-site you will find our deluxe safari tents located within a beautiful and secluded 5-acre meadow. They're spaciously set and offer you plenty of space to play, roam and relax. Feel free to bring your own outdoor games and reconnect in fun-filled and active ways.

Please note: Our woodland is currently undergoing conservation works and is not open to the public at present. This is for your safety due to the risk of falling trees. We will update here when this is open as usual again. Access to the tents via the woodland path is safe for use. We apologise for this inconvenience.

Directions

Exit the A30 at the Okehampton B3260 junction. Follow the B3260 into the centre of Okehampton. At the crossroads (with traffic lights) turn right onto Market Street, proceed straight over the mini roundabout and turn right at the T-junction at the end of the road onto the A386 towards Hatherleigh. Continue along the A386 and at the roundabout in Hatherleigh take the 1st exit onto the A3072. Follow this road through the village of Highampton and approximately 1 mile after leaving the village, Beara Lodge is on the right hand side opposite the T junction to Halwill.

NOTE: Please make sure you stay on the A3072 after passing through Highampton until you arrive at Beara Lodge. Do not turn off into Black Torrington!

We recommend using Google Maps and searching "Beara Lodge Glamping", rather than using the postcode. This should bring you straight to the gate.
