Widemouth Bay

An amazing beach at Bude, that is dog and family friendly. Widemouth Bay offers you surfing lessons, sand castle building, hole digging, rock pooling. It also has a nice cafe in the car park.

Summerleaze beach

A beautiful sandy beach with dunes for the kids to climb, rock pooling, swimming and sandcastle building. A great place for dog meets and close to the town centre of Bude, for Fish and Chips. There is also a large Sea Pool at Summerleaze, for a cooling dip or swimming in the sea without worrying about any choppy waves. 

Arlington Court and National Trust Carriage Museum

Near Barnstaple, a regency house with a massive selection of horse-drawn vehicles. There's over 20 miles of footpath for you to explore, including a popular lake walk of 2 miles. Dog- friendly. 

The Big Sheep

The Big Sheep is a fabulous all weather, great day out for all of your family. It offers you indoor and outdoor playgrounds, rides, animals, live sheep racing and for the adults, a brewery and gin distillery.
